DARCY

Coach (a stray dog) and Freddie Monroe, a popular athlete, work together to turn a group of misfits into a team that can’t lose!

Freddie Monroe is MVP of his Junior League Baseball Championship team. The victory goes to his head and he brags at school that he could have won the championship with any team.

Lynwood Dalton, captain of the opposing team and wealthiest kid in town, takes Freddie up on this challenge. One by one, Lynwood selects the most geeky, non-athletic, unpopular kids he can find. Luckily for Freddie, at the end of the line-up is “Coach,” a stray dog who loves baseball.

Coach is there at every practice barking at every pitch. The kids on the team soon realize that if they swing when Coach barks, they can actually hit the ball. “That dog is calling the pitches!”
